Clinics and Services
Asthma
It is important that all patients with asthma have annual check-ups so that their condition can be monitored and their treatment adjusted where necessary. We will send you out a questionnaire each year to assess your asthma. Depending on your responses, you may be asked to come in for an appointment or one of our team may contact you over the phone to discuss.
If you are having trouble with your asthma but do not think you need an appointment at the practice, we can often give you advice over the phone. You can either book a telephone consultation with one of our doctors, or speak to one of our nurses in the clinic.
Blood Tests
We see patients for urgent, investigate, and routine blood tests. These appointments must be authorised by your doctor before you can be booked in to see a clinician.
Your blood test appointment may be arranged by your doctor, at the front desk with a member of our Patient Services Team, or over the phone.

You may be invited into this clinic, or you can request an appointment.
Cervical Screening
Cervical screening, which used to be called a smear test, is a test to check the health of the cervix and help prevent cervical cancer. It's offered to women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64.
We offer cervical screening to all eligible patients who receive an NHS invitation. Cervical screening is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself from cervical cancer.
Your appointment will be conducted by a trained female nurse. If you’re due for your screening, you can easily book an appointment through our patient services team.
If you have any questions, concerns, or simply want to discuss your cervical screening, please don’t hesitate to contact us to schedule an appointment.

If you need emergency contraception, please make this clear to us, and a healthcare professional will contact you on the same day. The school nurse at the local secondary school provides a limited contraceptive service to younger people. More information can be found on the NHS Website
