How You Can Help Us

Our reception team are here to help you and are trained to answer non-medical queries, but they may ask you to explain your problem briefly to enable them to direct you to the appropriate clinician and to ensure that enough time has been allocated. Please remember to inform them of any changes to your name, address and telephone number(s). It is important that our records are kept up to date so that we can contact you quickly when necessary.

Confidentiality is extremely important both for patients and surgery staff. We do our utmost to maintain the highest possible standards of confidentiality. Patients aged 16 years and over should ring for their own results as we are unable to give them out to a third party.

When contacting us to make an appointment, please try to book ahead as far as possible. If your request is urgent you will be offered an appointment that day although it may not be with your preferred doctor. The receptionist may have to ask you to explain your problem briefly to enable her to direct you to the appropriate clinician and to ensure that enough time has been allocated.
