Home visits should be requested only if you are housebound or too ill to attend the surgery. Our facilities and equipment at the surgery enable us to provide a better service than we could at home, and we can see up to 6 patients in the surgery in the time it takes to do one home visit.
Please do not request home visits via our online services.
If you require a home visit from your doctor, please ring the medical practice before 10.00am giving us some idea of the nature of the problem, as this helps the doctor to plan his or her rounds.
Please be prepared to give information to the receptionist to help us to determine the urgency. A doctor may sometimes call you back to determine whether a visit is the best way of addressing your problem.
If you have a serious medical emergency that cannot wait, such as a suspected stroke or heart attack, please call 999.
