Family Planning Advice

Our registered patients can access family planning advice and a range of contraceptive services with our nurses including pills, coils, long acting contraception implants and emergency contraception.

All our nurses are able to deal with emergency contraception and pill checks.

Two of our nurses are specially trained to deal with all aspects of family planning.

Please make an appointment with one of our family planning nurses if you wish to discuss contraception choices by calling the practice on 01993 702911.

Chlamydia Screening

We now offer a free Chlamydia screening service which is available at the Health Centre. Our patients can access screening by requesting a kit through the Oxfordshire Contraception and Sexual Health services at The Alec Turnbull Centre, First floor, Raglan House between Towns Road Cowley Oxford OX4 3JH.

Opening times are:
Monday -Thursday 9.30am – 7.00pm
Friday 9.30am – 4.00pm
Saturday 10.30am -1.30pm.

The sexual health clinic for registered and non-registered patients is based at on the ground floor at the Windrush Health Centre, Mondays and Wednesdays from 15:30 – 18:30.
