Home Visits

Home visits are to be requested if you are housebound or too ill to attend the surgery. A Housebound patient is defined as being an individual who is unable to leave their home environment due to a physical or psychological illness. An individual is not housebound if they are able to leave their home with minimal assistance. Each patient would be assessed to determine their eligibility for home visits by a qualified GP.

If you require a home visit from your doctor, please call the medical practice on 01993 702911 (If possible before 10:00).

Please do not request home visits via our online services.

Please be prepared to give information to our Patient Services Team to help us to determine the urgency. A doctor may sometimes call you first before visiting to determine whether a visit is the best way of addressing your problem.

If you have a serious medical emergency that cannot wait, such as a suspected stroke or heart attack, please call 999.
